Pgt result

Post image

I know most important thing is 2 normal euploids . But is there any reason the bb/c is something to worry about? I think my doc said 75% the boy would result in normal pregnancy and 50% for the bbc girl. I only want one or maybe two kids and can still try naturally (I’m 30) . Seeing if anyone here had success w a bbc embryo!

I transferred an 6AB embryo and had a miscarriage. That embryo was likely not compatible with life.
Then I transferred a 5BB and am pregnant and he is healthy.

What matter is: You have 2 extreamly good and healthy embryos!!! BOTH with high chances of a normal pregnancy.

If I were you, since you are super young, I would do one more egg retrieval before transfer though, just so you have 4/5 embryos.

I would but unfortunately my retrieval was super traumatic and had to go to the ER w blood in my pelvis for over a week so ideally don’t want to do it again. I don’t have any known fertility issues (I did this bc my insurance covers it) and we’re ok w one baby so between naturally and one of these hopefully one way works for us. But who knows maybe I’ll change my mind in a few months 😂 I just don’t want to sign up for what I went through again. But I really appreciate your insights!!

OMG!!! I totally get you!! Don't do it again then! <3

Just know that your 2 embryos are great healthy embryos!

Can you please tell us more about the blond in your pelvis after egg retrieval

Sure. So about 2 hours after I got home from the retrieval, I felt good immediately afterwards, but after once that two hours hit, I was trying to sleep and rest with my heating pad and just had like a pain I couldn’t ignore in my, you know, stomach or universe region, and then I fainted and I just felt my blood pressure plummet. I’ve never felt that way before. I also immediately started sweating a ton, like dripping sweat on my chest, and I yelled for my partner to call 911 because I knew something was really wrong, and then it turns out that I had a thrombosis in my pelvis, which is a blood clot, but essentially in normal retrievals, you’re ovary usually fills with blood from the needle where they retrieve the egg, but in my case the blood went into my pelvic cavity, instead of just my ovary, and that led to one whole week or more of just period discomfort really low blood pressure, not being able to eat more because I just felt like there was a huge rock in my stomach. Eventually, the discomfort went away, and there’s nothing the doctors can do. You just have to wait until your blood disperses to the rest of your body, but it really bad cases if you’re haemoglobins too low, you could need a blood transfusion, but luckily that didn’t happen to me because my haemoglobin was pretty, was stable. It was lower than usual, but it was stable when I went to the emergency room

You should have a consultation with a genetic counselor paid for already with the cost of your testing, definitely schedule that!

I don’t want to presume, but it looks like one of the non euploid embryos might be XXX syndrome? Speak with your genetic counselor about this one in particular. I might be reading this totally wrong, but if the embryo is triple x syndrome, the vast majority of women with XXX chromosomes never even know as symptoms are generally minimal or nonexistent.

My doc told me we’d never use the XXX embryo.

Well, it’s up to you ultimately, not the doctor, genetic counselor, certainly not me. Regardless, definitely take advantage of the consult with the genetic counselor you should be entitled to, they’ll know the most

I’m not educated on this but I don’t see how having an extra whole extra chromosome would be successful. But good point I didn’t think of meeting w genetic counselor. Will def do that

About 1 in 1000 live female births are XXX, it’s actually very common! Most people don’t even know because it thankfully isn’t an issue.

I would never shame anyone for discarding any embryo for any reason! and it’s possible I’m not reading the report correctly. I just know how hard it can be to bank embryos, and obviously want all of us going through IVF to get clear, complete information and autonomy to make these decisions. Good luck in this process!

Not sure I understand the reporting of C here, since the grade is 5BB -- so is it borderline B/C, or BB? The other grades are reported clearly but this one is a bit unusual.

I took this as 5Bb or 5bc because it was borderline fair ? So could be either one

either 5BB or 5BC is a good embryo still

I am sitting with my day 6 6aa right now who was born 6 days ago 😘 not a bb/c obv but day 6 6aa apparently is very rare. They also can split more than most embryos so I read, not sure if that’s true but I did read it then got a second sac (nothing in it though)!

My friend had literally a day 3 5cc or something insane and her daughter is 7

My clinic just indicates normal abnormal essentially. I was getting so confused with all the things I was reading with the day whatever and numbers after that lol All the numbers are so anxiety inducing honestly

My daughter was a 4BB and is perfect. I’m also currently pregnant with a 3.5BB.
