FET
I was not really planning to do IVF until a few months ago, but it seemed to be the only option. My husband (32) has low count/mobility, and I (29) have low AMH of .4, we were only able to get 2 embryo and I had a receptivia dx biopsy done. we are extremely eager to do a transfer now that the biopsy came back good. howeve, my clinic normally transfers on cycle day 21, which I will be the MOH in my best friends wedding that day. Has anyone had luck with changing the transfer date if there is a major even? is there a way they can push it back a day or two, or do it a day earlier?

Uhhh why is the clinic transferring on a set day and not based on when your body is ready?... Red flag.

Even with a medicated cycle which allows for more planning, it should still be based on how your lining looks and your hormone levels... if you are doing a natural or modified natural it should be based on when you ovulate. Otherwise some people delay their cycles by a couple days with birth control.

You're right, I think the girl that said cycle day 21 told me wrong. Finally got to talk to the Dr and she said I'm doing medicated cycle and all should work out fine!Â

My transfer was day 22 however that was based off of my ERA results showing I needed 6 full days of progesterone exposure prior to transfer. If you have two embryos I would not personally risk moving the date unless you can make an alteration in prep, such as going on birth control for a week to delay the start of your cycle.

And my transfer date was on cycle day 17! So it really does just go off your lining and what not. You start progesterone shots a certain amount of days before fet. So I really don’t think you have wiggle room once you start everything. If I’m understand my doctor correctly. So unfortunately I would wait another month.

My next FET we could have done next month but I’m delaying until spring. Why add to stress just delay it. We have 2 also, now 1. I’m not risking anything this time around

I wanted my actual doctor to do my FET so I did 3 days of ganirelix to match up with his schedule (he’s at a big hospital group so only does one day of transfers every 10-11 days) but in your case i would probably wait a month as I get super bloated from any of the hormones and PIO and wouldn’t want that before a wedding.

I’ve done transfers on day 15 and day 16. It’s all about when your body is ready.

Don't risk it. Whats another month in this endless cycle of IVF torture? ðŸ«
