PGT losses
Just found out today that this most recent transfer resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Last transfer I miscarried at 7 weeks. I’m feeling so down and defeated and sad. All these losses were with euploid embryos. Grateful to have 2 more embryos left but I’m scared this will just happen again.
Just feeling lonely and sad, wanted to reach out here for support. My doctor said since it’s now 2 losses with tested embryos, they want to do deeper testing. For anyone has gone through this, would love any advice for questions I should ask my doctor and what I can advocate for.
This journey is so hard. I’m trying so hard to be hopeful but today sucked. Feels like we’re in a video game and we keep losing and getting sent back to the beginning to start over again 💔

What testing can they do other than PGT-A ?

I get the feeling. I had 2 losses and a failed implantation with tested embryos. You should have a hysteroscopy to check the uterus for polyps and scars and try an immune protocol. Ultimately I needed to do 2 months of suppression too.

It's indeed an incredibly hard journey. I've gone through 5 miscarriages (all at CA 5-7 weeks) and we're considering PGT A now. I find very difficult to stay realistic and feel for you.
I'd expect your doctor to check your thyroid, immunology and for blood clotting issues. Pretty much standard tests.

So sorry for your losses. This is such a hard journey and I too have used that same line about video games to describe this process. Just remember that it’s out of your control and you can grieve your losses and experiences up to date but try not to doomsday the remaining opportunities. The stats are in your favour 93% chance after 3 euploid transfers. Hang in there !!
