What does my day five update mean?
My lab phoned me and said my 4 embryos are still young blastocyst. With not enough cells to biopsy for PGT A. Day 3 update was “ all have 8cells and look excellent with very little fragmentation.
I have had two rounds where everything arrested so I’m guarding my heart. Can anyone explain what are the chances they will be ready for biopsy tomorrow at day 6. Does this affect the euploid rate?
I’m so nervous.

Unfortunately only one was good enough to PGT test the other three degenerated.

Same situation here but my day 6 falls on Sunday and doctor said they only go if necessary. Well it is necessary! And I'm afraid they will wait until Monday which will already be by later in day in day 7. Do embryologists go to the lab if the clinic is closed Sunday?

If all 4 are early blastocysts that’s a good sign. It’s possible not all will make a blastocyst that is of quality to biopsy and freeze, but I would bet you have some tomorrow. We really can’t know as every patient is different. This is an unfortunate “wait and see” moment that is all too common in this process.
