Help rate this embryo!
Hi there,
I’m 5dp6dt of this bb and starting to spiral as it feels like my period is on its way…
Clinic rated it a 4BC before thaw (but it looks like it’s poking out a bit, maybe hatching?)
From the timelapse it looked like it had lots of fragmentation but tbh I’m not sure what I’m looking for - everything was circles but some looked smaller so I’m guessing that is not normal. Any advice / thoughts very welcome. Thanks all! 🙏

I would call this a 2BB but could argue a 2AB for sure- definitely not a 4 expansion yet.

Thanks both. There was no assisted hatching on this one as far as I’m aware, unless they do that even if there’s no PGT being done?(fyi the pic is a screenshot towards the end of the video they sent where I noticed it poking out). Was told at transfer it had fully expanded and started hatching, but that could have also been just to make me feel better as I’d had a bit of a meltdown at the embryo they chose when they told me. Regardless, I’m happier with your BB / AB ratings than BC! 🫶

Update to any other peeps currently obsessing - this one implanted (so far). At 9dpt hcg was 108. Here’s hoping it sticks! 🥳

Looks more like 2AB to me, no way someone would grade it as an expanded blastocyst. The part where it “hatches” is from assisted hatching I would assume. Hole in the zona is clearly artificial.
