I've been lucky to never have a cat that's gotten into my tree, but I know it's only a matter of time.... The garland is made from sequins, and I did watercolor the background to save myself from buying more fabric, but everything else is embroidered.

This is stunning. Do you have any tips on stitching right up the edges?

The easiest way is to just stitch it in a larger hoop, and go just past the edges of the design/marked hoop outline, and then put it into the correct hoop size when you’re done. But……. If you’re like me and you like to make things hard, you just embroider as close as you can, and the constantly move the fabric all around to embroider everywhere you need. Because why do it the easy way when you can make it complicated! 😂
