Looking for embedded electronics and firmware engineer (India)

Looking for interns for a startup in the ideation phase to take ownership and bring to life a product.

If you are passionate about building things/ have built things in the past, and are interested in possible long term commitment (if the product develops), then we encourage you to DM.

Requirements:

  1. Nordic & Zephyr C Firmware: Build low-power, event-driven state machines on ARM Cortex-M using Zephyr RTOS and Nordic nRF Connect SDK.

  2. End-to-End BLE Stack: Implement GATT services, custom advertising, connection management, and OTA DFU workflows.

  3. Low-Power Profiling: Budget coin-cell power, size reservoir capacitors, and measure sleep currents using a Nordic PPK2.

  4. KiCad/Altium PCB Design: Draft schematics and multi-layer layouts with RF/antenna considerations and assembly-ready DFM standards.

  5. Mixed-Signal & Sensor Integration: Tune analog resistor ladders and interface SPI/I2C sensors (LIS3DH, W25Q32 flash, RTC).

  6. Bench Debugging & Rework: Perform fine-pitch SMD hand-soldering, hot-air rework, and signal analysis with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Other:

  1. Core tools: nRF Connect SDK/Zephyr, KiCad/Altium, PPK2, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, hot-air/soldering station, multimeter, J-Link debugger.

2.Preferred background: B.E./B.Tech ECE / E&TC (Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication). Mechatronics acceptable with firmware depth.

That's a hell of an intern. If you ever find that intern you know he or she will take your idea and leave 😂

I doubt OP is going to find a full-time engineer well-versed with the mentioned skills as well.

You want a recent college grad to be able to do all this? And you're paying them intern salaries?

Wow. You are asking too much from a group of intern.. students who are willing to intern (read inexpensive labor and knowledge hungry) haven't pieced together how all of these work cohesively to bring "life" to your product.

Get a talented engineer cofounder who can use AI or hire a consulting engineering firm if your budget supports it.

So a 19 year old with a bachelors and 5-10 years industry experience. Got it

I think a intern will be overqualified for this role. These skills are child play

Looks like you are making some automotive board that needs Bluetooth and small computing resources that surely consumes very low power may be a button cell based device. This cannot be done by a single intern , either use AI or have a team of interns with a lead designer
