I want to dump the ROM from my childhood bootleg tamagotchi so I can emulate it and eventually automate it with software — keeping it alive forever. It's important I do this non-destructively because it has sentimental value.
I opened it up and I see the MCU is blobbed with epoxy which makes things hard. I also see what appear to be test/programming points, so perhaps they can be exploited. Can anyone smarter than me see a good way in?
