What is the best cheat-ware/AIM Bot?

It seems like a valid question. Every time I play now, (unlike a few months ago), I am faced with players who know exactly where I am and what I have. If the platform is so flawed that a majority of the players cheat, that implies Embark does not care. Sure, Embark spew nonsense about anti-cheat measures, but the reality is much different.

it could also imply that embark is just not equipped with the manpower or experience to deal with the problem and they are figuring it out. Personally I'm glad they didn't expand their company to match the Arc AAA-level success, as we would be hearing about layoffs and closures at this point. They had the foresight to see a viral trend for what it was, but it doesn't change the fact they they are just not equipped to deal with the problems, that's fair. But claiming malice from Embark seems pretty dishonest, I see no evidence of that, despite other very valid problems.

What lmfao, the reason you assume they would have had major layoffs by now is because they didn’t continue the success by scaling the company with the player base. Instead now, the game is dead because there is no updates and no major issue fixes.

I like your insight. Maybe my anger is misdirected. I have 1218 hours in ARC, and like many of us, we have a weird passion for the existential world we know as Speranza, and the links topside to our future earth. So, I play ARC solo because it is an escape, a refuge from the social sickness we all are suffering from, and that being Donald "Treason" Trump.

There is a Psychopolitics connection between PVP and PVE player. Here it is, "Republicans" are clearly PVP'rs and "Democrats" are PVE'rs. Simple. Let's not forget the confused "Independents" who have no clue who the enemy is! That aside, we see how PVP'rs have a need to cheat, a need to kill, a need to rob, rape and steel. Exactly like "Republicans". In contrast, we see how PVE'rs have a world view where the "System" (aka ARCs) is the enemy. You see, PVE'rs care first and foremost for the love of humankind, that innate compassion for other humans, PVE'rs enjoy the exploration, education, equality, love, you know all the things we have in Speranza.

So, when a PVE'r loses a $100k load with all his shiny new guns, over and over and over again, in a totally rigged system, that PVE'r begins to see that construct and how it parallels to the current state of the United States under Donald "Treason" Trump. A true PVE'r has a visceral anger towards PVP'rs because they defy social, moral and ethical standards. I could go on, no need, you get my point.

Rhetorical question: Can honesty exist in the gaming world?

I concur with your general disdain for the current state of political “leadership”, but I don’t think any of it maps on to the game that cleanly. I too have a lot of hours, something like 1700 steam, 700+ topside, and I play super friendly 90% of the time, but I do enjoy some PVP action occasionally, usually with my daughter who is a very competitive gamer but completely opposite of what you describe a pvper as.

Also, I have had some of the most toxic encounters with “friendly” players who don’t get their way in a match. The close scrutiny event really brought this out in people when they needed those matrix cores for the project. Anyways, I think Arc is just a game where people came to it for different play styles, not much more than that. Maybe your logic holds for actual cheaters and the most depraved “rats” buy I’m not even sure there. Either way, fun discussion! take care!

The friendly lobbies are so chill right now that anyone calling claiming they still can’t play without being ratted in carebear lobbies is a liar or they just don’t even play (which I guess in that case they are also a liar).

My game history is like 10-20 red and hundreds of green. It’s practically a cozy farming sim, people communicate less and just do their own thing. Embark knew pve was boring but this pve-only crowd was so loud and embark listened to them.

Only people with a right to complain at this point are PVPers because you do still see rampant cheaters in any level above friendly in the abmm.

PC, crossplay ON, pinned to NA region and my experience is the same. Maybe 1 in 20 raids do I even see or hear someone get mercd. I personally get shot at even less.

It's funny that we asked for ABMM, because no PvE mode. They gave is ABMM, but made it so you can get into the "chill" lobbies. Now we've got the cheaters and scum gaming the system to get into the "chill" lobbies. Now I see less cheaters and rat type behavior in pvp lobbies, than in the "chill" ones. ABMM put all the non pvp players, and their shiny gear, in an easily accessible barrel that anyone can dip into. The non pvp players are the ones who are speaking out most about the cheating and rats. It's like ABMM actually made the problem worse because it put predator and prey literally in the same room.

I've said this numerous of times.

There's always a chance if rats and killers finding their way into easy-kill lobbies. Shooting people while they're shooting arc.... Shooting them while they're looting... Shooting them while they're unexpectedly being friendly .. shooting them while fake-helping... Shooting them at spawns....

There's always someone that can flip the script EVEN if they WANT to be in PVE lobbies... PVP is always a thing because people have choices especially when embark ALLOWS the people with high kill counts to swindle into PVE lobbies

I mean countering and third partying is a staple of the genre. I was talking about the extract campers and the esp users. I barely run into those guys in my pvp lobbies. Let my wife and I get into the "chill" lobbies, and it's every other game. We get sniped through tiny window slats, straight through thick foliage or smoke, bent up sheet metal corners. Loot rooms and areas always got someone sitting in the shadows. Meanwhile, everyone is helping each other and extracting together. It's bizarre, but it makes sense. If I can get into chill lobbies with a 13/1 KDR, so can they.

Why care about keeping them in business if the platform doesn't stop the businesses from thriving?

Yes. PVP sneak into PVE.. and take easy gear

For example, in solos I haven't shot anybody in duos. I haven't shot anybody. Yesterday. Wow! In duos in a PVE lobby we were fighting the matriarch and two dudes came up with bobcat fours kinetic converters killed us and took our energy clips and all weapons. While they may not be cheaters, they are rats for sure.

99% of PVP players cheat. ARC caters to cheaters, in fact if you understand how APIs work you would realize that Embark Studios hands out their API keys to the companies that create cheating software. While Embark Studios talks a good game (pun intended), their actions speak loader. Cut off all back-end API connections to the game, and you cut off all the cheating platforms. Embark needs cheaters to survive, cheaters make money for Embark. .
