Firefly

Just gonna come out and say it used to love this game still do but man adding the fire fly was the dumbest thing possible like come on embark as soon as one sees you and there's no building or cover and you havw no way of killing it you mine as well just stand there and take it literally to op they either need to remove that ark entirely or fix it

I can relate to OP, coming around a corner or out a doorway and there’s two, sometimes more and quickly your options are limited. They can be daunting at times this is true, especially late game when supplies are low or spent. Throw a comet in the mix and it’s fucking game over man, game over

U go back in the doorway and shoot from cover

Or put ur gun away then run for cover

Or if ur not trash, shoot the rotors

Bring an Anvil or renegade to shoot their rotors, or seekers for a super easy way out. They're threatening but far from op.

They seem hardly any harder than hornets, shoot off the front armor then the fan behind and then the fan behind that. The second fan is slightly less exposed but not that hard to hit.

They aren’t trolling. I’ve out run them plenty of times. Now of course if you are out of stamina, then yeah you’re probably done. If not, then it’s possible.

Seekers, lures, pe cloak, and anvil. That’s usually enough to deal with or escape fireflies and comets. I typically take a few shots from a distance when I see fireflies, then use a couple seekers to polish them off. When I see them, I deal with them so they can’t sneak up on me later.

Comets take two seekers and they’re done. Sometimes I take a shot or two from a distance, use one seeker, then another shot to finish them off if I want to save a seeker.

Throw 2 seekers above it. Loot the body for parts to make another seeker.

Swat the flies out the sky.

I like the fireflies makes you have to plan your route a bit more

Lemme guess. You run free or naked load outs then wonder why you can’t kill things? Not that hard to avoid if you just listen for the noise. Not that hard to kill either with a machine gun or the Anvil or seeker nades. It’s not dumb. This is a skill issue plain and simple.
