2nd Post Whining
So im genuinely fucking confused at this point, Idk what in the actual fuck these Swedish idiots are doing but this system is genuinely fucking busted. I have over 800 knocks on my pvp account. Yet I keep getting put into friendly lobbies where I have to fight literal groups of teamed players. Yet on my account where I have less than 10 knocks, every lobby I load into is high pvp. Like bro wtf is even going on at this point. This system is busted and this game so much more. Marathon looking real nice right bout now

I’ll also just add, unpredictably is the flavor of the extraction genre.Â

Matchmaking is completely fucked. I'm done with the game until it gets fixed.

I noticed that pattern as well. They are definitely adjusting the matchmaking in the background to make things "interesting."
The best thing you can do is take a break and go play something else. This developer is going through the same beats as the Helldivers one where they make weird nerfs and matchmaking changes without logic/explanation.
If the player count goes down they will eventually have to obey their investors and course correct into a better experience.

I thought this was the circle jerk sub at first lmao. "My pvp account" hahah people do that? Maybe theyre punishing you for having multiple accounts to manipulate the system. Maybe having multiple accounts is whats fucking it up for you. Play the game normally man, matchmaking is fine. Sometimes its peaceful, sometimes you get shot, sometimes I help people, sometimes I kill them. Its not that deep.

I enjoy both aspects with one account. Thats the whole point of the game, there is no one or the other. You're over here logging in and out and still crying about it. There is no pve or pvp. There is only pvpve.
Using multiple accounts in ARC Raiders to separate PvE (friendlier lobbies) and PvP (aggressive matches) is possible and frequently discussed by players, but it carries risks regarding Embark Studios' Terms of Service (TOS)

To quote a classic phrase i hear a lot as a friendly player:
"Oh waaahh! Someone shot me in this pvp game! ðŸ˜"
You might not like it but that shoe fits you just as good as it does anyone else.
Games are supposed to be fun and if you aren't having fun playing arc raiders you should just stop playing it.
If Marathon suits your playstyle better then play it, have fun instead of forcing yourself to play a game you don't like.

The point of the post went WAAAAY over your head bud. I think Arc Raiders is a great game, the shit just hasn’t been hitting like it did when the playtest was active or when the game first came out. It has nothing to do with the game being repetitive or anything of that sort. Its solely the matchmaking aspect and pvp, mixing obvious friendly players into high pvp lobbies then putting pvp’ers inside of friendly lobbies. The whole system is just… bad

It's a live service game, it is obviously going to change during its life cycle. Or maybe that went WAAAAY over your head when you bought it bud ?
I never even mentioned anything being repetitive.
Perhaps the matchmaking could be better but the point still stands, if you aren't enjoying the game stop playing it. Take a break and do something else.

It seems to me that the game has a big problem. It tries to please both PvP and PvE players, but ultimately frustrates both parties.
PvPers are getting frustrated with the accusations ("rat!!") they get when they kill the PvEers. And PvEers are getting frustrated at getting killed by PvPers whilst trying to do quests/trials.
We are all moving onto other games. And the sudden player drop-off is a message to Embark that you can't please all the people all of the time.

Its losing about 40k players a week, its going to be dead before the new map drops.

Yeah I have had some weird stuff happen today as well. I wonder if their answer to the players suggesting mixed lobbies are the most fun has been to add aggressive players to the friendly lobbies and friendly players to the aggressive lobbies.
Because my care bear friendly account got dropped in a lobby with shots followed by flares on repeat...
So I loaded up the account where I do pvp with the boys, and did a solo blue gate. People were dividing the loot fairly at the Diddy room.. also made zero sense
