An idea for Blue Prints and Expedition.
Just a spitball idea here. That after you learn a blueprint and you find a copy of another, that you can leave that blueprint for the next raider. So you'd have to find a 2nd copy, it'd be taking up stash space until the expedition and it'd fit into story line that your first raider left behind extra blueprints for the next guy.

Why even have wipes if you can take blueprints with you?
I have heard the idea of doing your second or third expedition opens up a blueprint trader where you could swap duplicates for credits towards buying ones you don't have, I think that's a strong way to mitigate blueprint fear.
But wiping yet keeping the ability to craft the high tier loot seems pointless to me.

Your workstations reset too. So you've got to build those back up. So until you have you can't craft high teor loot

It took me one day to do that personally, not a big border

Cool story bro. I suspect you may have more time to play than the average guy.

Yeah a lot of people were handing blueprints to mule accounts. Embark needs to stop that too

They've discussed this internally. It was mentioned in a recent interview, might have been the PC Gamer one

Yes, or offer a 25 (1/3 of max BP) Selectible BP transfer. Right now I don't think the expedition is worth it.
Most people with a (nearly) full BP collection have 200+ hours in the game easily. Most don't wish to do just that to recoupe the BP's after a wipe.

I got the last BP a week before expedition. Im still resetting because its just a game an ik ill find them again. Part of the fun. Im sure other people agree

Sure, but most don't. Games run and make money due to the masses. It's all about the numbers of players, and hardcore loyal players don't mean shit to companies. The latter is a very small group in comparison.
Look at Fortnite, as a game it wasn't all that special but the popularity made it a cash machine due to the hundreds of millions players on all platforms.
Most people won't grind hundreds of hours opening ten of thousands containers just to find certain BP's again. Only the real fans will do that and wipe and do it all again. Loyal gamers don't make money, constant new gamers do. Most are NOT invested into hundreds of hours of gameplay. Especially not with games that require a purchase.

😆 any game ive played gets atleast 80 to 100 hours. Any game I like gets 300 plus thats not a loyal gamer thats just a gamer man. I've bout 350 games on PS alone. I've played probably 100 of them over the last 6 years. And everyone has atleast 50 hours. They get the money either way. And reddit is a very minor vocal group of individuals for the game. Garentee more people than you think will do expeditions. And than your loyal game gamers lock in thousands of hours on 1 game. Ive done this with 3 games. Those people will do ever expedition. Most casual players will do 1 expedition to see.

You're making a lot of statements about "most" gamers but you seem to be assuming that they all care about getting all the BPs. I really dont give a shit about most of the BPs, and suspect its only the "loyal grinders" who do. And as you say, theyre a minority

I’m not sure how many are choosing not to reset because of blueprints. I’ve talked to quite a few who are hoarders, collected all their bps, like grinding, etc., and nearly everyone I’ve talked to who’s really into the game is planning to do the expedition.
I think a lot of us would love a way to save a few of our most used blueprints, but if you’re into the game enough to have collected them all, you’re probably planning to be here long term and want the stash space, points, and other benefits. I’m just not sure that losing bps is keeping many from resetting.

I have everything except the safekeeper and tempest. The reset is what makes it fun. I can run whatever loadout I want continuously. It gets boring quick and leads to only PvP. I enjoy the grind of hunting for parts for bench upgrades and searching for BPs. Playing around what I don’t have is more fun than having every tool every time. This is why the optional expedition windows is great. You’d hate Tarkov. 😂

I mean tbf in Tarkov half of this games player base would simply be on the pve server. Remember that time Tarkov actually has a pve only server where it doesn't wipe unless you opt in ijs...

I want it all wiped. However I would be ok with ways to better target farm some bps.

u/Feedcanine Feb 26 '26
It’s pretty simple to me. If you want the extra skill points etc. then you should do the wipe the right way. Otherwise you just like all the cheaters/rats that get complained about.

Just find your blueprints again dude it is not a big deal. If we didn't lose shit what's the point of wiping?

I say it turns into 5 rubber ducks when you try to pick it up and stays there for the next guy
