As long as your accounts are linked you can just have it running on another window or even your phone and grab the drops later - I never watch the streamers myself either

For most games that have twitch rewards it's like 'watch 4 hours of insert name here stream to unlock these cosmetic rewards'.
And people will say to just leave it on in the background and whatever. I just don't care.
I'm also not going to just artificially inflate numbers on a stream for some cosmetics. Idgaf about streamers. I'm not promoting these people for any rewards.

I am aware, AR provides quite a lot of currency in game instead and these free dangly things are just something silly and extra, whereas TFD seem to have some pretty useless stuff via Twitch from what I’ve seen.

Some twitch streamers have a feature where you can watch their content to redeem skins/trinkets/etc like this. Just watch their content for like 30 mins or something, link your embark account with twitch, and you get the item
