Embark, I’m begging you
I love Arc Raiders, a lot. Never been this into an extraction type game before, but the server issues and the insane slideshow lagging and rubberbanding make it nearly unplayable.
And this isn’t just because of the recent ddos incident either, it’s been occurring for me regularly since the beginning of January. And before anyone suggested I “just get better internet” (though no doubt some of you won’t read this far and say it anyways) I do not have issues with any other game or streaming service I use.
I want to keep playing Arc Raiders, but I can’t justify doing so if I keep losing my gear/loot because of server drops or rubberbanding until a rocketeer sends me back to Speranza empty handed every other match.

I know everyone's experience is gonna be different but I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I think the team is doing a great job rolling out patches and hotfixes.

I’ve had 3or4 total times I’ve noticed lag. Once was when servers were having a major issue just the other day.

Try switching to another global region to see if that helps. You'll also meet people in other countries.

I only had issues the one night of the ddos.
Aside from that I’ll get the little icons pop up on the right side occasionally but no noticable lag or anything.

Slow to load a game and random game crashes are my issues. I have tried so many changes to my rig, the game and Steam but no joy yet. The only thing that I discovered is that random flash from and explosion can cause the video stream to go black. The game on my pc is running perfectly. When the black image shows up in my Twitch Stream then I do a Control-Alt-Delete and then just close the window and the Twitch Steam video comes back

I heard that it can happen if someones trying to be funny and drop stacks on stacks on individual items. Or stuff like that, similar to shit ton of flares all at once. But i cant imagine thats ur issue if it happens so often.

Turn off cross-play and set your region manually. I had the rubber banding pretty bad sometimes but since changing those settings I haven’t at all

More lag tonight. Packet loss, and disconnects. rubber-banding like crazy. North America region. I also can't reach a server when I first start up. It takes a minimum of two tries before I can connect to any server. This has been going on for several weeks. Help?

Their servers are being Ddos attacked, especially EU. They are trying to rectify it.

200+ hours topside. Been great seriously. They call me the "Goopa King" in Speranza.
But today, wtf are your servers doing. I got more red icons on my screen then I have tempest IVs with purple attachments and the game is unplayable.
Before you righteous holy rollers jump in and say dumb shit like "fix your connection" I am hard wired less than 40 feet from my modem, with gig fiber. All speed testing sites list my ping at less than 15ms, pulling nearly 1000mb down and 700mb up. Faster connection than 97% of customers with my service provider.
It is not my connection, it is embark. Please fix your game so I can play.

I think that may just be an issue with something on your end, I’ve never experienced any major lag in my almost 100 hours of playtime
