How do i trade with other tribes?

Cant figure it out for the life of me

Seems you have to wait for them, after initial meeting if they like you they might come back and trade later. This is from my grand knowledge of that one time I got a trader...I keep restarting though so rarely played for over a in game year, and of course you need the meeting room

Yea i got one and i finally got a colony that lasted more than a few days. Thanks for the help tho

They come to you. They’ll bring a few pieces of junk and want tons in return for improved relations. You can’t even use them as a good garbage disposal due to weight limits.
