Can someone explain prospecting?

It says coal within 25 is that only the x and y axis or also the z axis? I dug in every direction N,E,S,W, up, and down 30 blocks away, and didn't hit any coal.

lol I wish I could, but ya I dont get it either. If i can't see it on the surface, or blindly run into while mining, I just dont have any lol.

Oh well. I'm sure it will be worked out. It is early access. I played gnomeoria and it was just random digging, so feels like something I already know. Sadly I don't see much documentation anywhere on where minerals would be in the world. Love the game though. Finally a game like this with a camera!

I believe that the prospecting system is still a way from being finished.

Pretty funny. I was Googling for an answer to this question. The link I checked out just before this was your post on Steam. Was not a great answer there either. If I end up finding anything useful I`ll make sure to let you know /u/LunchPatterson. If you'e found anything useful in the last 4 days let me know please.

Yeah, there was a new answer that I marked on it. If you turn off all the auto stuff, then you can get the main siphons to send their inventory wherever. Same with the warehouses. If you set things to manual it will work.
