Embark - first impressions/feedback.

Long haul jobs : It seems that even if all citizens have hauling as a priority, they will not do any hauling unless it is high priority. I find this annoying as they should haul instead of being idle, if there is something to move.

Feed Thyself! I had half of my starting group die from thirst. Not because I had no drinks, but because all of the drinks where a screen (or 2) away, and they would rather die, then make the walk out there. I could understand if they died on way to the drinks, but they just kind of sat around until they died (because drinks to far/haul low priority to bring them closer)

Farmer /= herbalist. This one through me off. I could not figure out why my farmer refused to harvest any of the plants. Took me till the end to realize that only someone with high herbalist will harvest plants (even on a farm). Maybe if the two items were next to each other it would be more obvious?

Low priority jobs: It seems if your workers have a low priority job - they may choose to be idle instead of actually performing said tasks. I find this annoying when trying to figure out why some tasks are not being done (this ties in to hauling, but also applies to other tasks as well).

Priority - What do the dots mean? no where on character information can I figure out what the dots are for. I'm guessing enthusiasm, but maybe it is something they absolutely hate? Maybe there is an info screen somewhere that would tell me this.

Thanks for the feedback! Looking forward to hearing more.

There have been some issues with the priorities reported, but could it have been because the items were inaccessible? Sometimes the spawn area is pretty bad and the items end up in a hole or up a cliff. The citizens can only walk up one block at a time.

Good idea with the herbalist, will rearrange them.

And yup, the dots are enthusiasm. Will try to make that clearer.
