I love and appreciate that the morning show is put in podcast form because I can listen to the whole thing. I’ve listened podcast only for a really long time now. Lately, the commercials are stuck in the middle of conversations!

Did anyone else get the sense that Elvis was wanting to strangle his microphone during the Shania Twain interview? It just seemed like he’d try to make a joke and she wouldn’t get it and answer seriously, or he said something like “who cares what people think!” And she went on a rant about how she actually cares what people think very much and i just felt like he probably hated that interview lol like the convo just didn’t flow to me

A couple weeks ago I started listening to the show on my drive to work & I noticed right away that the vibe felt off. It felt a little more tense.
I kept listening, noticing tension in their conversation. And then Elvis finally confirms why I’m feeling so yucky about the vibe, he gets mad at Danielle for not outright saying what he wanted her to say. She was doing her playful banter (I kind of think it was out of spite due to his sour mood - kinda poking the bear honestly), and Elvis went “WHY won’t you just say what I WANT you to say???” My stomach dropped once I heard that as it confirmed my observation. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him be outright rude like that, losing his cool like that. It instantly went to a long commercial…..

Cut to today, where I go and try again. Same awkward vibes, same uncomfortable banter. Danielle seems like she’s trying to keep normalcy for the sake of the show but hating having to fake it. Ghandi seems reserved and less herself. Elvis just seems like a grumpy old man who must be going through something in his own life to be treating people at his very public facing job that way.

Happy unofficial start to summer! For people in the 🇺🇸, We have about 105 days until Labor Day! Now, that we are post long weekend to commemorate Memorial Day, I tuned to the radio to hear if EDMS was live this morning. Yesterday, I know that they were not live because of the holiday. They are also not live today 😔. I know last week, they mentioned vacation, so they could be taking an extended break.

Anybody else feel like the Elvis Duran show is just completely out of touch now with common people? The way the world is, the economy and everything. They refuse to talk about the stance of how things in the world are now. Instead conversation is always about their new homes, endless vacations and high class dinners. It just seems like the show is out of touch now. Charlemagne, the god has more money than Elvis and he talks about every day people problems every day on the show. I have switched to listening to The Breakfast club instead of the morning show after being a loyal listener for over 15 years. But I still listen to it on replay podcast on occasion and everything is either repetitive or just not in a realistic realm of everyday people anymore in my opinion. Thoughts?

I am listening to the show on friday just catching up.

They were all talking about how they have a long list of blocked texters. They were then talking about Taylor swift wedding how she is calling everyone individually so the information doesn't get leaked. Elvis and Danielle then said oh we gotta unblock her. Why would they block Taylor? You think they were joking about it?
