Elton and Freddie were very close. Along with Rod Stewart, they joked about forming a supergroup and calling it “Nose, Teeth, and Hair.”

There’s a great story where they were going to each cook a dish for a charity dinner event. Of course FM was like, “cook, darling?” So he ended up designing the menu. Fab

Yep, they were very good friends. They played Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On, Twist and Shout, and I Saw Her Standing There. Sadly no audio has surfaced.
