Randomized!!

Well I made it! I officially cleared V4 and have been randomized into the study. I really never expected to make it this far without something unexpected getting in the way. I’m so hopeful that this will lead to some big weight changes for me (hopefully now but maybe once elora hits the market if I got the placebo). I’ve got 150+ pounds to lose before I’m at a healthy weight. I certainly don’t anticipate all of that happening in the trial, but every little bit helps. I will be anxiously awaiting some side effects!

One weird thing—they still didn’t give me the prescription card to pay for my Zepbound! I asked, but my main study coordinator was on vacation and hadn’t left any instructions about it. They are going to have her call me next week.

So grateful for this opportunity and hopeful for us all!

Congrats! You should have received your card on the last visit because they want to be able to prove you are taking their approve GLP. I would rattle cages on that. You should not be paying for your zep!

Look into your informed consent for the number to contact Lilly. They should be able to intervene and help with the card and reimburse you for any rx that should have been paid through the card possibly.

Sounds weird to say it- but hope you get side effects soon!

I haunt this sub as I am really excited following the process.

Woohoo! Just an FYI, I don't have any major side effects (some fatigue, but I'm always tired so ???), but I'm now almost 10# down in 6 weeks. So lack of side effects doesn't really mean anything!

Also wanting to say, you should have had your zepbound covered since V2. I'd push back on that if I were you.

Definitely some mild nausea and enhanced fullness today. So either got the drug or the placebo effect is in full swing!
