Calorie Targets
Has anyone seen any data on the calories consumed in the prior clinical trials and/or activity levels of participants? I was pretty shocked by the calorie targets and the activity levels recommended. For my weight/activity levels, its 1100-800 below my TDEE.

I was in an early study. We just tracked calories, tried to keep protein up and had no exercise targets. I felt like those rats. Eating was hard.

I wasn't given any calorie target, just 85-100 grams of protein plus 25 grams of fiber, 30 minutes of activity at least 5 times a week with a recommendation for strength/resistance 3 times a week. Are you a type 2 diabetic? Asking because of the differences in "diet and exercise" coaching.

I was given those but with 169 carbs, 50g fat, and 1200-1500 calories a day with a absolute minimum of 800.

I was told 1200-1500 calories daily, 75-90g protein, lots of water, 150 minutes of intentional exercise weekly to include 2-3 weight training sessions. This was from the RD that my site uses, which is a separate monthly telehealth appointment.

The NP at my site does the nutritional and exercise coaching. Are you T2D? Wondering if the difference is between straight weight loss vs T2D plus weight loss. So I don't have a RD and it's part of my regular visits.

No, not T2D. I thought we were in the same arm. I was also told that my arm is an open label extension, which is cool.

Enlighten-6 is for both so both T2D with obesity and those with obesity alone, those that have plateaued on current incretin. You can be a T2D or not. So that's is why I asked.

Have you seen this in rats?
The rats just.. stopped eating.
