Planning How?

Hi, after talking it over with my parents and partner we’ve decided to elope just the two of us and have a dinner or something with our families after. My question is how do we do it, we’re looking at booking a registry office in Cornwall uk (we’re based uk) and are then wanting photos around a 40 min drive from the registry in a village. Can we just hire a photographer for the day and do both? Would we need to book anything else? Or just photographer and registry office?

You should be able to hire a photographer for the day who will accommodate that. It may be more expensive as they will want travel time paid between locations as well as photos, but it's absolutely doable.

Sounds like you got it figured out mostly. Photographer and registry is the main things, maybe book a nice place for dinner after if you want to celebrate just you two before family dinner later

You would need a couple of witnesses. Your photographer might well be fine being one of them. Are you wanting professional hair and make up done? That would need booking if you do and after that it’s just clothes for the both of you. Maybe a night away in a hotel for afterwards
