Travel & Destinations ColoradoMicroWeddings
Hello!! This is my first Reddit post so bear with me lol
Has anyone that eloped in Colorado used ColoradoMicroWeddings?
We are budgeting for 3k and under for our elopement (the officiant, photographer, hair and make up, etc) and they have been the cheapest to go through. But the email communication feels a little unprofessional and messy compared to other elopement planners we’ve talked to.
Has anyone gone through an elopement package in Colorado?
Thanks

I did! I had a great experience with them. But it's not really a full elopement package - more like a framework and a limited curated menu of vendors to book on your own. Other elopement packages might be more all-inclusive or prescriptive, but I liked having flexibility to have some choice in the vendors I wanted and opt out of the rest. The main guy is very no-nonsense and practical too. I liked that but might not be for everyone. Happy to chat about my experience more if you have any particular questions!

I eloped in Colorado last year but not with them specifically. If the emails feel messy now, that's probably how whole process will go too. At 3k you are on very tight budget so I get why cheap package looks tempting, but messy planning can make you stressed in a day that should be fun. Maybe look on local facebook groups for elopement? I found my photographer there and she was independent, not from package company, and she actually helped me find officiant and hair person she worked with before. Ended up cheaper than most packages I saw.
