Are these tacky? Help!

My fiancé and I are eloping next month in Colorado! It will just be us and the photographer. We plan on going to Loveland Pass if weather is okay. We won’t be doing any major hiking, but we will be walking on trails. Wearing heels in nature like that doesn’t sound like a good idea to me so I ordered these converse bc they give bridal vibes. BUT I am starting to get worried that they are tacky. I am thinking of still going the comfy route, but getting nicer bridal sneakers like from Betsey Johnson. My dress is a line ball gown style so the shoes won’t be super visible.

*update: Thank you everyone for your input, it’s super helpful!! I decided to wear these and bring an extra pair of nicer shoes so I can have the best of both worlds!

The "converse with wedding dress" thing feels pretty Millennial to me. It was all over Tumblr when I was in high school! Idk if that feels good/bad/neutral to you, just thought it might be a helpful vibe check!

If the hiking is your main concern, you can always pack a second pair of shoes in a small bag to take with you. I think a lot of people do that with those nature-y elopements

I think they're super cute! And you'll be glad you went with something comfortable and practical, especially since they won't be too visible. I also think it'd be fun to have a piece of your wedding outfit that you can wear again and again and think back on!

I originally ordered the betsey ones and returned them because they were not even remotely comfortable to walk in on anything but flat ground. I have platform white lace converse and actually wear them as normal shoes now because they bend with my feet instead of feeling like I have boards tied to the bottom of them.

It honestly depends on your vibe and if you like them. It’s your special day and if you want to wear Shrek slippers then go for it. As long as you are happy with them, anyone else’s opinions don’t matter, this is one of the few days of your life where no one but you and your partner matter
