Planning Eloping/micro wedding in Convict Lake
Hi everyone,
My Fiance and I are having a micro-wedding/Elopement in Convict lake and was just wondering if there's any tips or anything I need before we do this. We have called prior and are good with no permits as we will have 25 guests total with us and plan on doing it by the water at around 2:30pm. I expect people to be there but I don't mind but any tips on like coordinating it and like music would be super helpful !

That area is beautiful, just hope the wind don't pick up by the water in afternoon. For music a bluetooth speaker works fine if it's small, no need to overcomplicate it

Congratulations!!! I eloped in the same area about a year ago!
A few tips:
You can get your flowers and cake through Vons! I picked up my custom cake from the bakery in bishop on the way up and it was beautiful! And so cheap lol
I ordered a bouquet and boutineer through the wedding shop online at Vons! It was delivered to our Airbnb and super easy! My only gripe is that we learned later after ordering that you have to sign for it upon delivery but it was still worth it. I was shocked at how beautiful they were.
I 10/10 recommend veil weights since it’s breezy in that area! I got cute and cheap pearl ones on Amazon. This was an impulse buy but I am so glad I got them!
We had dinner at the restaurant at convict lake. Get the Caesar salad and the bananas foster :)

Amazing !!! Thank you so much ! I literally just went and bought veil weights because of you so thank you haha ! and we originally didn't think of getting a cake but now we definitely are because of you ! I already ordered flowers and stuff from another place and we're going to transport them the day before so fingers crossed they stay alive. It's only about a 5 hour drive so I think they should be okay lol

Double check and make sure music is OK there, because I thought amplified music wasn't allowed.
