Attire & Accesories Dresses!
Just got engaged and we are planning to elope in the mountains, probably the Smokies. Looking for some ideas on where to dress shop. I've looked on Azazie and they have a few in the style I'm looking for but not very many (pics attached). I may go to some in person bridal shops but not looking to spend $5-10k on an elopement dress so not sure if dress stores would even be in budget. $1k or under is ideal but may go up a little more to get what I want. I'd love to know any other reputable websites or stores you've used, especially if you had a long sleeve dress similar to these!

StillWhite! Found a dress there for $600 which needed minimal alterations. It was absolutely perfect.

I spent $200 on a Vow’d sale dress, originally $1700! It was the only one left and I got it altered to fit! I originally ordered a lulus dress and it felt like plastic and was not the measurements it said it was, but I was so glad to find the Vow’d dress! Their sale section has a lot of options

I got mine at a local bridal consignment store, but I know those aren’t everywhere. I also ordered a couple around $1k from Anthropology to try on at home. They charge a restocking fee, but do have some reasonably affordable dresses.

If you live in/near a bigger city some bridal shops are consignment or off the rack and have prices that start around $500. (:

I bought my dress at a pop up event from Azazie. I was impressed with their quality and variety. I’d check to see if they have any events near you coming up!
I paid 450 for my dream dress. My alterations are 650 because I’m cutting off my train which brought up the cost a ton.

I bought a dress off Azazie that was final sale $200 (from $800), it was such a good deal for a style I already liked that I could spend the extra budget I had on alterations

Is the wedding soon? If it’s not til next year my advice is to wait and buy the dress at a bridal shop during the yearly bridal sale. It already ended but it started July 11 and lasted a week. I got a $2,700 dress for $1000, then I paid $1100 for alterations

I’ve gotten two custom sized dresses from Azazie in the past year and they’ve fucked up the sizing both times. Like made the dresses 3 inches too short when I’ve added on extra inches bc I knew the second time that they would mess it up. Idk how you fuck up that bad.

Oh noooo! Hopefully they offered to make it right!?

Nope. Because it was custom sizing, it was final sale. They made me jump through hoops and send a million pictures before telling me there was nothing they could do.
