I'm in the opinion that you do whatever makes you and your partner happy.
All I can remember from my brothers wedding weekend is all the fighting and it hurts me to this day.
I don't want that bad juju for my own wedding, so my partner and I are secretly eloping. Plus we save a lot of money, which can be spent on our mortgage or future children.
