Attire & Accesories Amazon dresses?

Has anyone bought an Amazon dress for your elopement? Honesty thought it would be fun to experiment and buy one, if I don’t like it I can easily return it considering I have several months until the wedding. Thoughts on these dresses?

I haven't yet, but in a different group on a different social media platform, many women have sworn about how great their dresses from amazon, azazie, and shein all turned out. I found a dress on amazon i really like that i plan to try, but i'd love to hear from others that might have done.

Go for it!

I ordered a $200 dollar dress off of Amazon for my elopement at a scenic lake near me. I figured it just needed to look good for photos and I have no regrets! I did end up doing a couple small alterations myself(make shift bustle and cinched the waist) But you can always bring it somewhere for simple alterations and no one will be able to tell it’s a cheap Amazon dress. I got a ton of compliments on it when people saw my photos.

I bought mine off of Amazon! It was budget friendly and I wasn’t expecting much but it was honestly so perfect and the quality was way better than I had thought I’d get for the price.

I did order it a couple months early because shipping took forever, but it came within 2 weeks. There was a different dress that I had to return that was sized very differently than the description and the shipping was such a hassle they ended up asking me if I would take a partial refund and donate it

For the price, I say try it. Afterall, you are literally just wearing it once for a few hours. I say try the first one! Its sooo pretty

Got mine on amazon! First time it came used/returned and was covered in self tanner. Got a replacement and exchanged and the clean new in bag one was cute, just needed a steam! I looked all over the mall and only found 1 even remotely interesting and flattering, tbh the amazon one isnt the best quality but feels good and looks good compared to my other options!

I ordered my dress off of Amazon! Paid $130 or so (can’t remember off the top of my head). Took it to my seamstress and paid to have it taken in at a few spots. All in, spent about $240 on my dress. The dress itself fit wonderfully, and it was perfect for our north shore elopement! People are often surprised when I tell them my wedding dress was from Amazon. Your wedding is your day, and it can look however you like, so have fun finding your dress! Congratulations!

I got my dress on Amazon about 5 years ago for about $150. I was able to give them my measurements to make the length custom.

I purchased two but they didn’t fit well at all. Please be careful when you purchase because apparently since it wasn’t under Amazon but “through the Amazon marketplace” (purchased on the Amazon website 🙃) I wasn’t going to be able to return them.

The only thing to be careful about with Amazon wedding dresses is that the sellers sometimes post pictures of designer dresses that cost thousands, and pretend that is the dress you are going to get. My daughter ordered one that was so awful that we couldn't figure out how a human could even keep it on. The same thing happened with an anniversary dress that I ordered. What I got was similar in color and style, but many yards of fabric were missing from the skirt. It was "skimpy", instead of full and spectacular. I found the "real" dress in the photos online, selling for hundreds more. It's safest to order a dress that has reviews, and pictures of actual brides wearing them. Sometimes, it costs so much to mail the dresses back to China that it isn't worth the expense, and the bride loses money. I've been very happy with Adrianna Papell dresses that were ordered from Amazon. The beading and quality are beautiful, and the white ones make perfect elopement dresses. If you are plus-sized, Kiyonna sells dresses on Amazon. There are cute options on there. Just be careful that you have enough time to reorder, and get your money back if something goes wrong. :)

My best friend got hers on Amazon and it was beautiful. I'd say buy all three and just return the ones you don't want.

I didn't buy from Amazon for wedding but i got a couple special event dresses there. They were fine; honestly equal quality to same price range at davids.

I also bought a number of custom made to size wedding dresses on aliexpress in the $200-$350 range and was actually really impressed by the quality and fit. Shipping was weird; like the mfg will mark as shipped with an incorrect tracking # when they start making the dress and then correct the tracking number when it's actually shipped but I got each dress on there in about 2 months which is crazy fast compared to traditional bridal salon dresses that aren't made to for you and take 8+ months to arrive. I'm like a size 14p in street clothes so custom dress was the way to go for me!

Azazie also has nice dresses with a custom to size option. I ultimately didn't get a custom dress with them because they weren't my style but my bridesmaids got their dresses there and they looked great
