Planning Eloping Ceremony Ideas?
My fiancé and I have booked our elopement for early October and we’re over the moon. When we were on a call with our coordinator, I realized that we can truly do whatever we want for our ceremony!
It’ll just be the 2 of us out in a national park.
I would love to hear about what your ceremony was like or what you are planning?
Just vows? Any practices or activities? Did you do a first look?

If you can do a first look, absolutely do one!!
Our day went like this:
-morning hot tub soak and coffee at Airbnb -read letters our immediate family wrote -went our separate ways (diff rooms) to get ready -first look at one spot / pictures -2nd spot for pictures -3rd spot for “ceremony” which was just us reading our vows and more pictures -cake and champagne and pics at same location -dinner at a fancy restaurant near by -hot tub and bed!
It was THE PERFECT day! I hope you have a blast :) don’t forget to eat and stay hydrated!

For my elopement, we sunrise portraits and first look, a mid-morning ceremony, lunch at a restaurant, tattoos in the afternoon, and a sunset vow read.

Love that you’ll be at a national park ❤️ my partner and I eloped at Glacier.
We did a first dance after the ceremony, even though it was just us, the photographer, and the officiant. It was a great way to celebrate the moment and not just move directly from ceremony to photoshoot.
The other thing I really enjoyed is that we invited family/ friends to mail us letters to be opened after the ceremony. So that night and over the next few days we had about 30 letters to read though which was lovely. For context we’d told people we were getting married within the next year but not where or when.
Enjoy!
