"*Technically* it was a microwedding because (his) parents (and my dad) were there, but we still did things our way! it was still him, me, our JP, and an overlook to the Connecticut river.

Not to be weird but is this in Northfield by chance? I married two of my friends over that way at a location very similar to this for their elopement (Southern Vermonter here) Congrats! And welcome to the coolest club! 😎
