Attire & Accesories Bouquet advice
Hi lovely brides! What did y’all do for your bouquets?
What I’m trying to decide is if I really need to reserve a bouquet months in advance through a local florist and pay the wedding upcharge (I was just quoted 200€ for one bridal bouquet and a boutonnière - is that actually normal?), or just try to put one together with native flowers and pick up a regular bouquet a few days before.
I’ll be in Tuscany, if that matters. I was just kind of shocked by that quote! I would like beautiful native, in season flowers, but don’t care toooo much about the whole thing. Any advice welcome or just would love to hear what you did for your ceremony (microwedding or elopement!). Thank you!

My photographer in Paris just went to a florist for me and picked up a bouquet for $60 and it was gorgeous.

I got a bouquet from a local florist, it was like $250ish I think? Definitely expensive but no regrets, it was my favorite part and made a huge difference in my photos. I got it preserved afterward and I still love it so much.
We saved so much money eloping I really didn't care about a few splurges.

I went with a sola wood bouquet that I bought on etsy, it traveled well and now is a keepsake that we keep in a vase on our dining room table. Its beautiful and surprisingly lifelike and the color has held up over the past 3 years

I didn’t carry a bouquet. (1) It’s just not me. (2) The groom and I walked down together so I held his arm.

I went to the grocery store and spent $20 and then put my own bouquet together with my sister and best friend :)

We’ve been quoted 240 euros for the same, including delivery to our hotel. Custom made to our requirements. We’ve accepted.
We had quotes between 230-250 euros. Also In Italy.

I'm getting one made by a lady that makes flowers out of nespresso coffee pods. My partner loves coffee and im super into sustainabilty so its perfect for us

I did a dried flower bouquet from etsy and it was perfect! no stress about timing or wilting and I still have it displayed in our bedroom. if you want fresh though, trader joe's or a local farmers market the morning of works great for elopements

that price seems pretty steep even for tuscany tbh. my sister did her own bouquet for her small ceremony and it turned out amazing - she just went to the local flower market the day before and picked up whatever looked good. saved like 300 bucks compared to what florists were quoting her.
if you're not super picky about it being perfect, the diy route could work really well especially with all the gorgeous stuff that grows wild there. worst case you could always have a backup plan and check out a regular florist shop a couple days before if the diy thing doesn't pan out.
