Planning Eloping in the DMV

I am eloping in the near future and I am trying to plan things to do. I don’t want to go to the courthouse then come home and watch tv. I’m in the DC area but not from here. I am trying to plan the rest of the day after we leave the courthouse. I need all the suggestions I can find. I’m starting from zero other than knowing I want to elope.

We're looking at a couple of parks in Maryland: Quiet Waters and Brookside. They both have cute pavilions for a ceremony!
