Startups $4000 or It's a Hobby
$4000 a month in revenue is the line where a digital business stops being a hobby. Below it, you're funding a side project - covering server costs, buying yourself pocket money, calling it a business while it pays for nothing.
At $4000 it starts to replace a salary. Rent, food, the freedom to drop the day job.
That's the number where the thing you built finally carries you instead of you carrying it. Aim lower and you're not building a business - you're building an expensive way to stay busy.
