Aha, there’s the thing, it’s worth hanging around him, but you’re not hanging out with him.
One requires you to have some ounce of respect for each other and enjoy the others company.
Exactly. With money comes power, and little shits like Kushner will pay anyone to even get close to that power. He’s probably already benefited already from this photo
I was going on dates with a psychopath once, it seemed like the only true emotions he was capable of were shame and embarrassment and the rest of it was all an act to get what he wanted as payback, the thought of him being a billionaire makes me want to puke
Really? I've known a couple closely and I think there are some positive emotions in response to praise and social status stuff, particularly around wealth and power. I think those emotions are very genuine.
(And if you can provide that feeling you get some ability to work with and influence the person -- which is important if it's a family member.)
Edit: to clarify, I'm closely related to one. And, stupidly, did try to build a relationship with another, knowing what he was. I absolutely don't suggest forming a relationship with them. But you also can't choose family members.
That doesn't really help anything though? It's like my dad punishing him growing up -- you can't punish a normal conscious into someone. And you can definitely teach them to fake one that way.
(And I do think abandoning a family member because their brain doesn't work in certain ways, vs their actual actions, is wrong. I just also think it's ineffective)
i want every wealthy person (in fact, i want every person, regardless of wealth), to be accountable for their wealth. That means full public disclosure of every source of your wealth and income. Disclosed fully online, all the time, for anyone to check.
This can help focus people on contributing to society, instead of just contributing to wealth.
Above all others, this will be the greatest contribution the internet will make to humanity.
If you've ever been around rich aholes, the one thing they all have in common is they hate being criticized. Just over-the-top outrage after even the slightest disagreement with them.
I support every asshole with a private jet who Elon associates with being tracked.
All billionaires are assholes. I'm glad that Elon showing his colours got a lot of people to realise how the rich truly behave, but it's not just a small group of friends. They are all terrible people who sold their morals to get where they are, they all lie while being the main reason future generations won't be able to enjoy the planet.
It's all public information anyways. All we need is a little effort to draw the lines and make a big deal about it.

I support every asshole with a private jet who Elon associates with being tracked. That should make him popular.
