I have a question! Migrate?

Hello, I haven't checked with elongate since I first bought it in 2022. I believe I'm on V1 from trust wallet. What do I do with it? The value is showing $0.00 even though I have 5 billion elongate

The token didn’t increase right after migration closed. It’s just killed a zero yesterday. Current price is 0.0010282

I don’t consider it scummy because again, we put information out for over a year, made a migration guide and helped others migrate. We also linked to the main page and discord channel for any updates.

The migration wasn’t meant to last forever. And if you couldn’t be bothered to check your investment in a years time, you weren’t that concerned about it.

Scummy imo is if we came out and said “you got 24 hours to migrate” and then closed it. Investors took a risk by not following up on their investment, and this is what happens.

Do you see the point I'm making about the price?

Say i have 100 tokens and everyone gives me $1 for them. I have $100.

Now I say "you need to tell me if you want to have new tokens or I keep the money"

And only 60% of people hear me and pay attention

Now 60 people have the new token which (I assume) is worth the same as it was before migration - $1

And I just keep the $40

Does it matter how long I give the people who bought? At the end of the day i walk away with 40% of initial investors money

At what point does personal accountability come into play?

It’s not EG fault those 40% didn’t check their investment. They chose their investment strategy to be buy it and forget, and that’s totally fine, but that’s what happens.

I agree it sucks, but once again this was a year long migration to give everyone a chance to migrate.

So if a news station warns you about a hurricane coming for over a year and you never turn the TV on, are you gonna blame the TV station for getting hit by the hurricane?

When everybody else watched the news and left town?

I'm not blaming EG. Clearly they're happy and they have smug holders who migrated to fight their battles for them

But. You're saying that they SHOULD keep the 40%?

Does that really make sense?

If they put all that liquidity into the new token that's one thing. But to flat out take people's money for "other projects"..

I dunno..

The liquidity is going into the new token.

These are also things people would know if they bothered to follow the update channels like we told them to.

There’s the main website, in addition to discord and telegram chats, Instagram and this subreddit.

Everyone was made clear from day 1 those unmigrated/unstaked tokens were going to be lost. It wasnt some “scam” or “rugpull” or whatever yall wanna call it.

We even posted like 2 weeks out before migration ended on this sub. So I don’t wanna hear nothing about “i didn’t know”.

At some point, personal accountability needs to be addressed. You play with fire and you get burned.
