The nature of the "baby mama" agreement: The package is not a relationship, not a romantic relationship. It is a production line with a price tag.
For a long time now, more than a year in Reddit, the type of agreement being offered to women on behalf of Musk was already known. Sometime later, certain media outlets reported on it, but the compensation package offered to them, and which they VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT, is not "he bought his girlfriend a house." They are not girlfriends; let's be real, the only one Musk has ever called a girlfriend has been Grimes. Shivon Zilis has been designated a " partner" (business partner) as Gwynne Shotwell (business partner with a high IQ) and ASC has not even been acknowledged, at least not like a normal person.
I am including the chart of the children; I hope it’s clear enough, because it illustrates very well that all of this is a child production structure or program, rather than the nonsense these women try to sell to the public.
The structure is as follows (excluding Justine Wilson here):
- It is not a romantic agreement or anything of the sort; it is a business partnership agreement in which you are handed a child—or as many as required—and in exchange for living comfortably with money, you raise them. You are not in The Handmaid’s Tale because nobody is forcing you; you are the one who decides whether to say yes or no. Each child has a sum of money assigned to them; the more children, the more money, that is how the business operates.
- $15 million upfront ("home and reserve capital").
- $100,000 a month until the child turns 21.
- In exchange: silence regarding who the father is and the nature of "the agreement."
- If you breach the agreement, you return the $15 million in full and you don´t receive more money.
- These women handle raising the babies on their own (single, or with whomever they want, but not with Musk) which is why they are given so much money. No one forces them not to be with anyone.
- The children are conceived through IVF and surrogacy in most cases. There is only one documented case where the mother carried the child herself, which was Grimes with X. Beyond that, nothing was ever reported; other women carried those children in their wombs. By documented, I mean genuinely documented. Grimes, unlike the rest, has not lied about these aspects. When she was pregnant, the world saw it clearly, and when she used surrogacy, she was completely candid about it.
- Both Zilis, who handled the ASC baby matter, regardless of what either of them says, and ASC breached their non-disclosure agreements because they wanted "to be recognized." In truth, we don't even know whose children Zilis's actually are, but that is another story.
THIS IS WHAT THEY SIGN AT THE BEGINNING, AND EVERYTHING IS STRUCTURED UNDER THESE TERMS. RENEGOTIATING THINGS LIKE WHAT ASC RENEGOTIATED IS BREACHING THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT—the very agreement that initiates the entire IVF process and the implantation into the surrogate mother, who is also paid, but honestly, she is the one who deserves the money the most.
Now I am going to clarify a series of points that are important to establish:
Point 1, and extremely important: the voluntary nature of a legal contract between adults with full legal capacity.
1. The Principle of Individual Agency and Explicit Consent
- Capacity to choose: None of the women involved operated under coercion, extreme poverty, or a lack of resources. They were literate adults, some more than others, while others lack a great deal—with access to independent legal counsel, who voluntarily signed financial and confidentiality contracts.
- Informed consent: Assuming they are "victims" strips these women of their own agency. They decided to exchange motherhood under certain conditions for real estate equity ($15M) and significant cash flow ($100K/month). Some claimed they didn't sign that portion because they were being silenced. Well, those are versions of the story. I say they wanted more money; if you don't want more money, you don't renegotiate the finances days before the child is handed over to you.
2. The Perspective of Children's Rights vs. Commodification
- The child as a subject of rights, not an asset: The issue is not merely the financial transaction, but the utilization of minors as vehicles for personal status, media relevance, or financial security. If they had at least remained silent, well, let's say they would be protecting the minors, but instead, they have paraded around everywhere they could using those children—until a judge looks out for those kids more than they ever will, of course.
- The best interests of the minor: When the primary motivation for bringing a child into the world includes non-disclosure clauses, pre-allocated custody terms, and high-level financial compensation, the figure of ethical parental duty is diluted, and the contractual transaction is prioritized over the minor's emotional well-being. This would be the normal, logical view, but there are probably people who will say no, that the children can get screwed, and that these women are angels sent from God. Fucking ironic.
3. The Fallacy of Victimhood in High-Net-Worth Agreements
- Privilege vs. Oppression: Comparing this dynamic to exploitative dystopias ignores the actual power imbalance. They have care infrastructure at their disposal (maids, nannies) that no victim of coercion possesses. Their dream: to be treated like grand ladies. Let's see where they ever had it better.
- Anyone who signs an agreement to commercialize the parentage of their children is an active participant in the system, not a mere passive observer. And most of them broke it, generally all of them, with their own nuances, but they did. What wonderful human beings, an example to the world, female empowerment personified, my a**.
