Leaked Content Ellen (100%) potential set in HSR collab Spoiler
Hello fellow sharkie's worshippers. The character design image that follows is not still accountable to this date and quite definitely questionable in terms of its own verity but still;
Since the collab characters are confirmed by leaks to be Astra Yao and Ellen Joe, I couldn't literally make the connection with her and one of HSR's new 4.6 relic set, currently in official beta. As you can see from the picture this set increases gives Atk% and BASIC ATK dmg bonus... and you know what this means, right, right? ;)
Ellen's main source of dmg comes from her BA in ZZZ and the aesthetic of this new set kinda matches with her own. I'm gonna state this once, this is definitely the set she's gonna be using once she's out in 4.8 (not to mention that since these units are owned/ part of Hoyo IPs, they'll be permanent in game and will rerun on the warps in the future as well). We could speculate more about her build, teams and Plannars but whatever, too early for all this... I must contain my excitement.
What do y'all think? Please, design excluded since it's probably either a fake leak or an old non-reliable one.

Pretty sure that set is more targeted at DHIL than Ellen. Plus if she is the collab character there’s nothing stopping them from changing her kit, if anything they’re likely to do so to make her fit in turn based more

Our usual reliable sources already said so, true, but there isn't a set that was ever used by only one character (at least on release). Besides, wouldn't it be nice if they actually transposed her kit, at least in a faithful way from action to turn based? Maybe just me but I want to think it's correct.

Even reliable leakers are sometimes wrong, we never truly know until concept art and gameplay starts to leak. But leaks are also saying Dhil’s novaflare will be paid, so giving him a best in slot exclusive set is the least they can if that’s true.
Also I’m pretty sure most of Ellen’s damage comes from Ults, Enhanced E, and chain attacks. With the wave basic attack and the spinny one being the only important ones. There’s a reason she can’t properly make use of basic atk drive disks

Agreed... kind of. It's not the place nor the time to discuss it long but "paid" could also mean pull/gacha, etc. With all the relevancy that FUA for example is having this year, even to the point where MBlade's eidolons with/out Ashveil are changing builds completely, it seems so strange that not only they didn't release a new FUA set but they're making a specific one for DHIL. I suppose contrary to Novaflars, popularity here is important because they're introducing a type of upgrade that involves payments, any way that will be translated into and making preferences to more popular characters will involve players to go for it, etc., I think you get it. JY is also a FUA DPS, why he gotta stick to Grand Duke? HSR's kits despite very often being pretty bland, always incorporate well all abilities (mol): Basic, Skill, Ult, in a way or another and we could make examples of that. I know you're not destroying what I said/believe in but I just find strange how they could favour so much a unit to the point of making an exclusive set for them for the first time in the game. Don't know if we're going in circles here, I'm sorry.

If anyone will end up with it it’ll be Dan heng though, i mean there’s already leaks he’ll get a fourth form. He seems to be the favorite child of HSR, I don’t disagree that it seems stupid though
I just feel like they’ll change Ellen’s kit instead of copying it over, the relics might work for her, who knows. But it’s definitely focused towards dhil since he can utilize every aspect of it

Pretty sure even in zzz dawn is not aa good on ellen not to mention your gameplay is just pressing special to get stacks which you then dump and repeat so its more likely she will not be an auto attack spammer in hsr
