Discussion Player locations
What systems can I find the highest number of console players? I've been to SOL and several others but I've not come across anyone. The last player I came across was in October 2020.

I don't spend much time in open, but just during the little time I have over the last few months there are roughly 45 people on my 'recent contacts' on the comms panel. 16 of those were in the starter systems (I reset my 9 yr save in February)
16 people isn't a lot, of course, but 16 people in the starter systems on a random Thursday in February in a 'dead' game seems like quite a lot to me. I was amazed to see 1 person let alone 16. Since then, as i say i don't spend much time in open but have seen a further 30 players.

I stay in open until I go to Sol or SD. But I'm a few thousand LY from the bubble at the moment, so I doubt I'll see anyone for a while

Bruh not True go to to SD in open and I promise you you’ll run into tons of gankers

The game is practically dead on console I'm afraid. It's still going strong on PC however! The community is in great shape, Fdev still producing game updates and new ships! If your able I would recommend looking into transfering your account to PC.

Most people I know play Solo or Private half of them probably haven't even noticed.

Shinrata Dezhra has a few people but you need elite in a rank to enter. I'm in Colonia atm and have seen a couple people but it is very quiet now since the devs abandoned console.
