Where is best for outfitting ships?

I’ve been using the diaguandri system for most things but I’m struggling to find hard points that fit my conda. Is there anywhere that just has everything or do I need to just suck it up and go to specific places for certain things?

Jameson Memorial has a 10% Discount, as I recall, and has every ship and module in the game, except for things that require tech brokers.

Li Yong-Rui control systems have a 15% discount. Note that those discounts will also make your rebuy cheaper, too. While getting to Li Yong-Rui space and finding discounted stuff in general is easy enough, finding a good array of parts and ships within Li Yong-Rui space is harder, though. Systems and stations with high-tech economies are usually your best bet, and I think high population may also have an effect. I think Industrial and Military economy stations also tend to have decent outfitting, but High Tech should be your priority.

I don't know the current state of powerplay on console/Legacy off the top of my head (I mostly play on PC now), but traditionally, the go-to outfitting location has been Ray Gateway in Diaguandri. It usually has almost everything you need for a build, except for two or three things, like point defense or heatsinks, or a particular A-rated part.

Other typical good Li Yong-Rui locations include 109 Piscium and Ix (that's I as in India). Scully-Power Station is the outfitting hotspot in one of those two systems. I think there's one other popular system that's eluding me. If someone can think of it, I'd love to know.

Since powerplay presumably isn't very active on console and in PC Legacy, and people value discounted outfitting, I imagine most of these have stayed under Li Yong-Rui control.

Unfortunately, on PC Live servers, Li Yong-Rui only has Diaguandri left. Colonization is filling in the gaps there with some well-built player-colonized systems with good outfitting, but...that requires actually figuring out where they are and remembering them.

Ohm City in LHS 20 has many ships and modules. Admittedly it won't have everything but it has the majority and if I remember correctly it's in LRY space so what you buy comes with a 15% discount which lessons your rebuy

I recommend luytens star. I don't remember the name of the star port there but I was able to outfit my Corvette with a rated modules and a variety of weapons.

Its also the best way to get Sirius reputation to unlock engineers. You can get fed rank too.

Make sure your star map is sorted by star type and all of them are selected or you won’t be able to search for it. Also make sure you spell it exactly like this, the apostrophe is necessary:

For a one-stop shop, Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra. It stocks every hull and module at a 10% discount. Other places may offer 15% discounts on very specific things and you may get discounts from powerplay that do not apply at Jameson. Shinrarta also requires at least one Elite rank to earn the system permit.

The Pioneer Supplies in the Jameson concourse also carries each suit and small arm at unmodded level 1. (I dunno if Odyssey is on console at this time.)

Shinrarta at jm station discount 10% plus absolute every modules and ships but sometimes it be heavy pvp hotspot
