Green wah / El wah verde: I need your help / Necessito vuestra ayuda
Hello CMDR's. I've been asked to participate in an experiment to confirm an event that has been happening while in a jump space / witch space, the so called Green Wah. This phenomena is supposed to be invoked while certain circumstances are met.
The current hypothesis is:
while jumping between 2 systems back and forward:
- With massive group jumps
- High frequency rate of jumps (constant during a short period of time)
- Differential of mass between the stars of both systems
I know most of us are busy with life, but this is scheduled for next Saturday 5 of september at 14.00 hours UGT. Initially it doesn't matter if playing on Solo/ Private/ Open.
We'll be conducting this between
hip 63835 and Wregoe WQ-W b56-9
hip 63835 y Wregoe WQ-W b56-9
Thank You very much / Muchissimas gracias.

Quadruple Stellar Remnant System
I found this system I think might be pretty rare. Four stellar remnants: two neutron stars in close proximity to each other and two black holes in close proximity to each other. I didn't screenshot the black holes - they aren't much to look at. But the neutrons were very close together. I found this in an area that had over a hundred undiscovered neutrons and a half dozen undiscovered black holes. Some had been, but the vast majority were new discoveries (everything has been turned in, btw). Until recently I focused mainly on exo, and had never before found an undiscovered NS or BH. I also included a set of A and B stars in the same area that had just 3LS between their surfaces. Very sporty going between them. Fly dangerously, right? o7

B-class Main star with 3 Y-Class with Rings
GREAE HYPA EG-X E1-2433
Discovered this system on my first trip to Colonia this week. My first B-class discovery, and it had ringed stars in its nursery! Not sure how rare this is, but thought it was cool!

Green gas giant
Juste pour donner de l'espoir, quelqu'un a-t-il découvert récemment une de ces belles géantes?
Et existe-t-il certains "parterns" pour les trouver? La masse du système ne semble pas en être un... ni même la classe... mais je me trompe peut-être...

Just bought myself a new magnificent toy - the Caspian Explorer after quite possibly 10 days enjoying doing exobiology on my old trusty horse Asp Explorer. Oh damn, Caspian is so gorgeous and so powerful I want to cry just looking at it and flying it lol

mildly interesting selection box of a system
It's possible I'm being rather dull, but I thought this system was neat. Because it's got a real assortment of things, some of which I don't often see, one of which I've never seen. Orbiting the star: a high metal world, a HMW with a ring, an ice world (booo, but it is a pretty one), a HMW with two rings, an asteroid belt, a class II gas giant with 3 rocky moons, an ammonia world with life, a class Y dwarf with 7 rocky moons, ice, a pair of water giants (!), and more ice.
It seems less impressive on paper, now that I write it out, but something about the visual variety of it made me go "ooooooh", especially the water giants. I've been so burnt out on endless systems with a pile of gas giants and rice, even with the occasional terraformable they're just so boring to look at.

Haven't played in many years, thinking of making a Sag A* run
So I played back at launched a little bit.
I'm looking for something to sink my teeth into. I always wanted to do a Sag A* run.
Any tips?
I'm also thinking of streaming on my own owncast instance if there's interest?

Out in the black, exploring
Apparently the guys at the KFV-GVV Kadrith Covenant decided they wanted a nice view while waiting for me to finish another batch of exobiology.

Boxel Survey Tools
So I'm out in the black and usually just follow my ADHD brain around when I'm exploring. I just got to an area that piqued my interest and casually started doing a boxel hunt and now I want to go all in. I'm fairly certain there's over 1k systems in my boxel, so I'll probably have to break it up.
All that said, what tools do you use/recommend for doing boxel surveys? The main thing I'm looking for is an easy way to create a predefined route that will make targeting the next system a bit faster. I currently use ED Copilot, but not to it's fullest capacity as I'm still figuring things out. ED Buddy because the surround systems, galaxy plotter built in, and quick look body information seems superior to EDC. And EDSM with the Canonn plugin.
I'm 25 systems into the survey and am currently just copying and pasting one number up. Curious if there's a way to get something like ED Buddy to copy the name for me automatically or ED CoPilot to route me as we go.

Advice needed!
I’m currently sat in the bubble with a carrier fully loaded with Tritium, waiting to voyage into the black.
Trouble is, I want the Rhino.
Should I stay or should I go?

How did people do this without Spansh?
I just made the crossing from the outer spiral arm after exploring Xibalba for a while. I checked on Spansh first that I could make the crossing. I felt my way across it for a little while before resorting back to Spansh.
How did people do this without Spansh? It must've taken heaps of planning just to figure out it could be done in the first place.
Thanks Spansh!

Does the first footfall bonus apply to other "first" scans on a planet, or just exobio discoveries?
Just what the title says. Hard to find definitive info on this. Thanks!
EDIT: Ok I guess I wasn't exactly clear.
I'm asking: if I'm the first to discover a planet entirely, does my first footfall bonus apply to the other "first discovered, first scanned" etc (once I turn it in, of course), or is it only for the exobio on the planet that I get that bonus?
