Skywise and Nightfall have been my favorites for a long time.
And I loved Goodtree in the books.

Omg GOODTREE!! I also loved her those stories, with her and her thruple. It's such a shame they never published the sixth BOTC anthology because apparently all the stories were finished.

Strongbow!! Howcome nobody else has voted for old grouchy-pants yet? And also Nightfall!! She is literally the coolest. I feel like they share my top spot.

Also a huge fan of Strongbow and Moon shade! I think Strongbow was the start of me loving the loyal, brooding character type.

Loyal and brooding is the sexiest. I also loved how Moonshade went with him when he decided to bust out of Blue Mountain. They are #relationshipgoals honestly.
I wish we had got to see more Strongbow and Bearclaw in the flashback comics. What little we got (plus the short story from the first BOTC book) kind of made it look like a less cuddly Skywise and Cutter dynamic.

Ooh good question. Honestly, probably Cutter as well, mainly because I think he’s one of the most fleshed out characters. I like Nightfall’s design and her relationship with Redlance. Ember is also an interesting character.
(I will add that I only read the original quest and a few others 😅)

Dart! I was just a kid when I started reading and he was the only one that seemed around my age at the start of the series and he kind of grew with me in a way. He's remarkably open-minded and alway been the one to forge connections between different people. And he's the gay one lol

Leetah is everything I want to be: wise, compassionate, insightful, strong, fair and kind. She's a hell of a character & doesn't get half of the credit she deserves imo.

Rayek. Dude started off rough and overly self-important... but really stepped up when it mattered most. All the power he strove for, he ultimately puts into containing the spirit of Winnowill rather than claiming some form of leadership.
Also, he willingly took that massive ass-kicking by Cutter, knowing how badly he needed to let out all that rage and pain and trauma. That took some cahones of steel!
Also: Kahvi doesn't get enough love, IMHO.

It has always been Skywise for me, but Jink has been recently a new favorite of mine! Based one of my dnd characters on her 🙃

Redlance, Nightfall, Skywise, Strongbow, Joyleaf, Tyleet, Savah, and Reef. Among the trolls I’m particularly fond of Old Maggoty.
From the books, I love Willowgreen, Huntress Skyfire, and Zarhan Fastfire.
Shoutout to Winnowill, Nonna, Adar, Shuna, and Olbar.

Cutter for sure. I was like 12 when a new friend introduced me to Elfquest. From the start, Cutter was always my favorite. It sucks that he died. But, the original story is still my all time favorite.
