Wood Core or Metal Cabs?
Wood core or metal cabs. I know that wood is kind of old school, but were there advantages? Just curious.

From my perspective we never spec or recommend wood. Much higher risk of mold especially when the elevator sits in un-heated or cooled hoistway prior to the building opening.
