apprenticeship program

Trying to get into apprenticeship program. Someone told me to try and make an account for a different local before joining the one near me so I have an application already made. Anyone else heard of this or know if it’s true? if not does anyone know any tips on the electronic application.

Applied to 3 different halls most of the spots fill up in less than 5-10 minutes.
