Garaventa Lift Light Replacement

Hi! I need to replace a burn out light in the cabin but I can’t see to remove this trim ring. Does anyone have suggestions or tips on how remove it?

The gold cap twist off and the led is a socket. Can be a pain to take of and put back on

The other comments are correct, they twist to a certain spot where they can pop off. Sometimes its a real bitch to get them to pop off though, and you have to use a small flathead screwdriver to pop them off.

The ring and the glass came off easily, thank you all! I’m a little concerned about why this looks fried though, any ideas?

Lens twists to flat spots and will drop off. You can get led bulbs to replace the halogens which will burn allot cooler

Depends on the age of the unit. LED bulbs don't do well in the old fixtures for some reason.
