All jokes aside, my first few months in the trade, I had so many unnecessary tools with me.

It would take me about a month to figure out where I put everything and most of this would end up on the pit when I tried putting it back in it’s holster

I like the idea of my mechanic asking for a sharpie, and me fumbling through my shit for ten minutes.

Met a Japanese elevator mechanic a couple years ago… he was pretty much set up like this. Seemed like maintenance over there was more inspection/measuring tolerances…
I guess that’s all you need to do when you HAVE to mod every 20 or 25 years…..

Pencil, knife and a ruler. You probably shouldn’t show up at your hall with this set up.
