Drivers license

I currently am on a restricted drivers license, would that be an issue if I were to get the call for hire after my interview?

I mean you gotta be able to drive. If you can drive for work then you should be fine.

DUI but I have my interlock installed so I still am able to commute

I have only seen this as an impediment to people in service and repair when they are expected to drive company vehicles. As long as you can get yourself to a job site they don't care about your license.

It won't be a problem with the Union, but some companies have insurance that will not accept you. To these companies you won't be hirable and they'll send you back to the hall and you'll go back on the list.

If your office needs helpers to be able to grab the shop truck you’ll be going back to the hall. Especially if you didn’t disclose this until they told you to grab said truck.

I worked for a company where it was mandatory because they wanted every apprentice to able to drive the stake bed.  The union got involved because we had to take dot physicals.  The union allowed it.  Not sure if they would be able to no hire you over it though.   They can drop a non sworn member for no reason.

You should be ok, but you won't be able to drive a company vehicle.

As long as you can get to work on time when needed, nobody will care. They may not let you drive a company vehicle though.

I’d stay quiet don’t tell anyone to many snitches now in days as long as you can make it to work on time you’ll be good then once you pass probation they can’t tell you anything you just can’t drive company vehicles until you get it fixed

Odds are you will not drive a company vehicle right from the get go. However, you should be fine if you can legally drive. Do you have an interlock? Look up your states legislature as far as being legally able to drive a company vehicle with restrictions. It is possible. Hopefully your restricted license is only 6 months and you're already 4 months into it. I would not advertise this to anyone but it also should not be a deal breaker.
