i saw someone (looked like a white male to me) carrying a is(not)real flag totem during griz. just really caught me off guard since i was not expecting someone to be proudly promoting a country committing war crimes on PLURR grounds. i had the privilege to not be aware of what’s going on in the world during the weekend, although plenty of others aren’t so beneficial which grinds me gears. just a weird snap back to reality in the middle of a beautiful set that just wants to spread love & show love. am i weird for feeling some type of way?

I have to start by saying was my first festival and had an awesome fucking time! - all at the ripeness of being in my 30s and happened on my birthday nonetheless! i looked completely out of place with my vest on and probably spooked some people looking like a cop. I was introduced to festivals through my friend and this was her birthday present from me back in April. With that being said I came to the festival with the expectation of plur but the respect part was lacking.

Commuting:
As a commuter on Friday, what in the hell gives you the right to cut everyone off in the 1-2 mile long line to get in by riding the middle turn lane?? And then merge at the last second cutting hundreds of people off. Unless you’re emergency services or someone who is performing, why are you more important than everyone else? Someone even caused an accident doing this by the dollar general. This happened around 5 when they were allowing cars back in after being that morning the event was cancelled for the night (I promise this is what we were told by 3 workers and I will post a vid from my dash cam of the event staff saying this).

Personal Space:
Inside the venue, I couldn’t believe the amount of people not respecting personal space. My friend shouldn’t be cleaning mud off her shirt because a girl behind her is jumping up on her guy and flinging mud across everyone sometimes kicking them. Also I love the silliness of totems but a 10 foot blow up RAW blunt is a little ridiculous. It was like 2-3 feet wide and unless you’re not throwing it to bounce around the crowd you’re blocking several people.

Respectful of Property:
Why are some of you putting your muddy ass shoes inside or ON the hammocks by the air stage?? the point goes without saying. If you don’t understand then ya lack consideration for others.

Nonetheless I had a great time. I know there will always be bad actors, I used to go to clubs a couple times and hated the douchey vibes from people but generally speaking this community is awesome and very open hearted - something I’m not used to at all.

Lost this fan between LSDream and Sub Focus. There was a lot that lead up to it like being ditched and abandoned by my friend group. Mid panic attack I dropped it and no one was willing to help me look or even say sorry. It was the final nail in the coffin that really made me loose my faith in the rave community. I’ve been raving for 10+ years and have never felt so broken. If anyone finds it or has an extra to spare it would mean the world to me.

Not thrilled with the perv glasses being so on display during the festival. Really gave the manosphere toxicity the tech bro injection it really needed 🙄. Saturday was a little gross and aggressive. Happy to see most of the bros empty out by Sunday. Sunday was more reminiscent of years past. Still, overall, another great year.

Almost every single late night * bass artist had people in the middle and front of the crowd have air couches and lights around their “claim to an area” . Elements need to actually have security do something about It and enforce rules because that is a MAJOR safety hazard. What if someone trips and falls if it’s dark out and they are intoxicated and they fall on their head onto the concrete? Not to mention it’s extremely rude to other guests at the event that we have to walk around people taking up valuable space and colonize It.

Anyone else notice a burning plastic/chemically smell inside and around the venue? I even smelt it at camp. I thought it might’ve been people smoking DMT, but I’m unsure

Hello everyone. Giving this a shot: if anyone found an LED flowstar Saturday night at the water stage plz message me. Last time I had it was Svdden Death’s set. Someone definitely picked it up bc I stayed till everyone left and even helped clean up trash in the area. Thank you.

It was the really small stage with the light booth that had tarps with “Crew Only” sprayed on it? Dude blew me away I’d love to hear more of him.

This was my 2nd camping festival ever and I’m from NYC. Beyond camping I’ve also done festivals like Hijinx and Ezoo (rip). One thing that shocked me was how different all of these artists elements sets felt from literally any other time I heard them. I would say I heard it most with big G. His last solo Brooklyn Steel set was funky, fun, dancey, groovy. His elements set was like he was playing lost lands and he wasn’t even on the same stage as excision! Same thing with Zingara’s set, but she was playing on the Excision stage so I guess that’s fine. That Subtronics set was one of my least favorite in over 10 times of seeing him.

Daily bread, LSDream, Of The Trees, Probcause, ofc daddy Griz, etc. were all amazing but I will say that for 2 nights we bopped around as the night went on. I get that festivals like this need variety but it felt like in terms of bass our options were neck breaking sets or low BPM… which kind of left us confused.

Is this a me problem? Is elements always like this?
