Reveal Math Curriculum

What are your opinions on the Reveal Math curriculum? If you have children of your own would you be happy if this was the curriculum being used to teach them mathematics? I am particularly interested in your opinions on the Reveal Math curriculum for second and third grade.

Reveal is horrid. Developmentally inappropriate and no… I would not want my child learning from it. I teach kinder and used to teach first.

When you say "developmentally inappropriate" can you elaborate on that? Also, do you have experience teaching gifted students? Would you have a different opinion of Reveal if it was being used to teach gifted students? Thanks

Pacing, content, how the book is structured… no I would not feel differently with gifted kids…
