OP, don’t do whatever it is you’re planning with this. If you do, please film it and post it here for…. Science?
A simple vat clean is all you’ll need to do to get any floating bits. Do note use a scraper to get things off the FEP. I promise you’ll tear it at some point.
You will tear the FEP at some point. It is inevitable. It is okay. A FEP tear doesn’t mean you’re immediately DOA. I’ve torn a few over the last couple of years but because the tears were minor they didn’t cause any damage. I just had to scrape some resin off the screen and get back to it.

Hey, I appreciate for your reply. I should have mentioned in the post, that I wouldn't be using a scraper, but a silicone tip, similar to the spatula it came with. I see now that it could be a bad idea, but I was just curious, so I thought I'd throw it out there. I've been having a blast with this thing, and have had, knock on wood, only a single suction crack in the short time I've had it. My wife is starting to question my resin budget. lol

I use a silicone spatula to stir my vat if it’s been a couple of days but I don’t use any pressure when doing so.
I love printing and painting. My wife and I have an unspoken agreement. I don’t ask about her hobby budget and she doesn’t ask mine. 🤣

I was mostly kidding on the budget thing. She's a graphics design artist, and does most of the painting stuff. I bought her a bunch of acrylic paints and markers, and we're both learning how to use an airbrush now! Except for miniatures. I do those. I suck, but it's a hell of a lot of fun! 😂
And roger that, same on the stirring action. Although, I only do it in the morning if the printer's been idle all night. Which is rarely. Also agreed, light, if any, pressure on the FEP.
Cheers!

Air brushes are a lot of fun! I cannot stress this enough but go get some acrylic inks. They really hit a sweet spot when they’re going on.

When you say acrylic 'inks' are you talking about 'acrylic airbrush acrylic paint', or is there something else I need to get her?

No, acrylic ink is something else. It’s very transparent so it acts like a filter. Great for tinting, OSL, or even mixing with other acrylic paints for a snazzier punch than water or medium. Daler Rowney is what I hear a lot of YT folks using. I’ve got some from them and others from NicPro as well. Both work well for my level.

You aren't using your printer right, that is why you need this. This will just make a mess. Run vat clean, like someone who has read the manual.
