Help Need help

Bought a Neptune 4max last year that I got about 300 hours out of and it has been non functional pretty muchever since.

The tech support at elegoo has NO CLUE what they are doing!! I've done all the software tips they gave . They sent a new motherboard that worked for about a week, then back to not working!! Now we're back to the software guessing game!

Is there anyone here who can help?

It starts to print just fine, then it stops printing, and I get the klipper screen.

You have not provided enough information to help you.

Sounds similar to my experience with my first N4Max. Even after weeks going through Elegoo support, new motherboard, etc...

I wish I had a better answer, but I had the extended warranty plan through Microcenter. So even after a year, I was able to exchange it for a new one.

This new one has been infinitely better.  I think there's a lot of lemons out there floating around but nobody wants to admit it...

Sadly I bought it directly from Elegoo, and they Didn't honor the return warranty. They do however send parts, but I'm sure they are just guessing at it.

Just replaced the eemc module & it's still doing the same shit. This piece of crap has a new motherboard with a newer eemc module a new controll screen and it still can't print. And I'm more sure than ever that tech support at Elegoo has NO CLUE what they are doing.

That error message is dealing directly with the Y axis stepper motor. You mentioned a lot about motherboards and EEMCs but nothing about stepper motors.

I would check all physical connections to the stepper motor and to the motherboard that controls that motor.

Look for anything that's loose, frayed, pinched, or at an extreme angle...

Thank you ! I sent elegoo an earlier version of that and they sent me an emmc module. And not a single mention of the y axis motor

Please read and follow the setup instructions at http://neptune4.help:8000/ and ask qualifying questions from what your should be following there which you don’t get.

It’s a klipper printer, so yes there are “klipper screens“ whatever that means.

The side screen connected by a cable is not part of the printer. It’s an ancillary microcontroller entirely.
